On Friday 18th of November, we once again took part in Pyjama Day, supporting Children in Need. Being a nursery, this definitely is a charity close to our hearts, so it felt extra special to be able make our little contribution in changing the life of the children who need it the most.
Thanks to the support of our families, this year we raised £100!! It really feels great to contribute our little grain of sand and give back, and feels even better to be able to do it alongside our amazing nursery community!

Pyjama day is simply the cosiest celebration of the year, and this time was no exception. Children and adults came to nursery showing off their cosy and comfy pyjamas (some even complete with slippers and nightgowns), and the whole day felt like a slumber party! We had some extra cosy corners in the book area to share some story times, and of course, our teddies and other soft toys were big protagonists on the day.

The other main character of the day was, of course, Pudsey Bear! Not only did we have different Pudseys in the room to colour and draw, but we also had our very own Pudsey competition. Each room decorated their own giant bear using different resources, allowing children to really let out their most artistic sides. Through drawing, painting, sticking, and stamping, our Babies, Toddlers and Preschoolers made each bear their own; you could really see each room’s style and preferences displayed on their Pudseys!

At pick up time, we displayed the giant bears in the garden, so our parents could vote for their favourite (if they were able to choose one!) while also contributing to the charity.

After such a successful day, we already look forward to seeing what the 2023 edition of Pyjama day at MPH will look like!!

Our Babies worked together on their giant Pudsey, and also decorated individual ones to take home. We couldn’t miss the opportunity to take a group photo in our PJs!!

In our Preschool, we had some cosy story times, completed with blankets for an extra warm touch. Children also decorated their own Pudseys and made Pudsey-themed cards to take home.
