‘Tis the season to be jolly!! Christmas spirit has filled the rooms in Monkey Puzzle Highbury: as soon as December started, we decorated every single room to the melody of Christmas carols. We always take the opportunity to join our families and celebrate different festivities, and Christmas is always a special one for us.
Our doors opened last Wednesday to join in a Christmas concert with our music teacher Emily. Our babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers sang along different carols and played some instruments along with the rhythm, showing all their learning about tempo (piano and forte) and musical pattern. They even involved some Makaton into their singing. Hurray!!

We continued the celebrations during the week with our Christmas jumper day on Thursday. Filling the room once more with a festive atmosphere wearing our adorable jumpers and having our Christmas lunch in the rooms. We enjoyed not only a special meal, but we also worked on our Christmas presents and Santa’s letters.

We ended the week with a Christmas party on Friday and the special visit of our unique Santa. HOHOHO
It was an incredible opportunity to celebrate together one more time, joining different activities and games and making sure we share the holiday spirit with our families. Our babies had a lot of fun decorating cookies and making sparkly stars, while our toddlers joined in more active activities showing their balance and cuttings skills. Finally, the pre-schoolers joined in “pinch the nose” on the reindeer and made different Christmas-themed crafts
