Nursery Assistant

Hi I’m Luana, from Italy. I spent most of my life living in a small town in the south of Italy, before going to Milan to study. After returning to my hometown, I decided I needed to move elsewhere to grow. After falling in love with London I knew that would be the best place for me.

I have always loved working with children, because it draws on your creativity and resourcefulness. I think that the best way to help them learn is to stay with them in an empathetic relationship and, through play, encourage them to be curious, thoughtful and confident “explorers” in the big world! This is what I’m aiming to achieve at work and obviously having fun while doing so!

In my spare time I mostly enjoy reading and listening to music. I love having long walks and getting lost so I can find new places and learn new things. So far I’ve always been able to find my way home, so fingers crossed for my future wandering!!!

Qualifications, Skills &Experience:

• Trained Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist
• Experience in a range of childcare roles
• Experience Tutoring Disadvantaged Children
• Paediatric First Aid Trained
