What a wonderful warm February we have had! Each of the rooms have been making the most of this unusual warmth and have been to Clissold Park, Highbury fields, Gillespie Park and library. So much additional learning and conversation happens while they are out and about, and they absolutely love it.
This week we have had a wonderful curriculum evening with lots of you. We hope you have found it beneficial in understanding some of the activities we carry out here and what learning happens from accessing them.
Throughout the coming month we have lots of extracurricular things planned so please keep checking your Family app to see what is going on. So far, we have Shrove Tuesday (Carnival Day) on 5th February and we invite you to dress up your children for the day in bright colours or costumes to celebrate. We will continue the dressing up theme on 7th March for World Book Day and they can come in dressed as a character from one of their favourite books. On 15th March we will be acknowledging Red Nose Day by dressing in Red and raising money with a bring and by cake sale….so get those chef hats at the ready! Last but not least, it will be Mother’s Day; we will host our annual Tea Party on Friday 29th of March inviting all our lovely mums to join us, more details will be given closer to the time. For your ongoing information, we are having three nursery closure days for staff training this year: 5th April, 26th July and 4th October. We look forward to an action packed March to share with you all!
