We had the amazing experience of having a fire engine and some fire fighters visit the nursery. The children had the opportunity to learn about the engine, the different tools the engine carries and even hear the noise it makes in an emergency. The fire fighters explained what to do if there is an emergency and the children also asked lots of useful questions about life as a fire fighter. The visit ended with the children getting to try out the hose for themselves!!
