Monkey Puzzle Highbury Newsletter

So much has happened in this month of July. First of all, the weather has been so warm that we have made the most of it by getting full use of the paddling pool! This has proved to be a very good buy and our Pre-schoolers even had a pool party celebration before going off to school in September.
There was lots of red white and blue paint being used with activities for American Independence Day as you will be able to see from each room’s descriptions.
Pre-school room had a very exciting trip to Angel theatre to watch a show called “By the Sea”. The children loved the show and were able to make puppets after to take home with them.
Next month will be just as exciting with lots of planned trips to the local parks, farm and nature reserve. We will also be celebrating National Hero day on 28th August. Please wait for more information on this.
We have our last Inset day of the year on 31st August so the nursery will be closed for the day. This time we will be looking at personal profiling and how individual preferences can enhance ways of working in a team.
Can you please look in the lost property boxes in each of your children’s rooms to claim any clothing that is missing? We will be taking any unclaimed clothing to the charity shop week commencing 13th August.
For those parents who like to plan ahead, the July copy of our newsletter is the perfect time to talk about Christmas!!! We will make Friday 21st December our last working day and will be re-opening in January on Wednesday 2nd. Finally Summer is here and for those who will go on their deserved holidays we wish a pleasant, funny, sunny and happy Holiday.
