November News

Well, we’re almost at the end of another fantastic year. Where does the time go?

We’re all another year older, more noticeably with our little ones at the nursery. They have grown not only in size but in character also. Not a day goes by that it’s not an inspirational place to be. Every day is different and all the team agrees, that the nursery is a wonderful and worthwhile place to work, because of them.

The nursery will be closing at 6pm on Friday 23rd December and will re-open again on Tuesday 3rd January 2017.
Inset (nursery closure days) for next year will be Monday 28th March, Friday 23rd June and Friday 8th September.

From the entire team, we wish you all a very merry Christmas and we hope you enjoy the break, however you choose to spend your time.

Our fundraising this month was for Children in Need. Thanks to your generosity and skilful baking, we were able to raise the sum of £173.13 for this worthwhile charity. The children and staff loved attending the nursery in our pyjamas too!

xmas-jumper-dayWe have another fundraising event on Thursday 15th December. It is Christmas jumper day and we ask you all to dress your children in their Christmas jumpers and bring a donation in for Save the Children.

Friday 16th December
will be the children’s Christmas party as there will be lots of children on holiday the following week. The party will be from 4pm until 6pm and is open to all children and parents, even if you do not attend on that day. We will have a magician to entertain us all and there will be special visit from “You know who” with some presents for the children.  For those who do not like the magician or have shorter concentration span, there will be activities in other rooms for them.
